Graphic Design Photography
The progression from Digital Photographer to Graphic Designer was a gradual one for me. After Art school I worked for a small company as a digital photographer and on occasion to help out the designers I was recruited to work on small projects. Piecing together some photos I took using Photoshop was often something I did, but I eventually starting using Illustrator and Quark for bigger projects.

After that I started freelancing for a few different Photography studios. Since by now I was a pro in Photoshop I would use it to touch up, color correct and overall enhance the studios digital photographs. Different photographers had different requests for their photos so I had to tweak my work to satisfy my clients. Then I started getting requests from these same clients for creating wedding albums or advertisements for magazine and eventually a new logo and branding.

That is when I realized I love the challenge of Graphic Design, even thought Photography is my first love design is where my passion truly lies.
